Season Opener at Star
Speedway
Epping, NH
- Star Speedway opened up the 2013 racing season on
Saturday night, with the EKeys 4 Cars Modifieds headlining an action
packed night of racing action on the historic quarter-mile. The
always-exciting Woody’s Auto Strictly Stocks, Star-4 Mods, and a
pair of 50-lap Enduro events rounded out the program.
Qualifying
action saw Moultonboro’s Garrison Grubisa take down the
win in the first Modified heat of the night followed by second
generation Star competitor Mike Douglas, Jr. of nearby Auburn.
Defending track champ Jacob Dore of Sanford, ME took top honors in
the second qualifier over Swansea, MA‘s Todd Annarummo.
